Get ready to “let the good times roll” as The Side Cars, a nationally recognized tribute to the legendary sound of The Cars, takes the stage at 8 p.m on Jan. 24 at the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown DeKalb.

Known for their note-for-note instrumentation, impeccable vocal harmonies and energetic performances, The Side Cars capture the magic of one of the greatest catalogs of pop rock music to ever exist, according to a news release from the Egyptian Theatre.

From the infectious hooks of “Just What I Needed” to the unforgettable vibes of “Drive,” this exceptional group of seasoned musicians brings The Cars’ iconic hits to life with precision and passion. As a special treat, the night will kick off with Joyride – 80’s Mixtape Live, a dynamic concept band dedicated to delivering the biggest pop, rock and new wave dance hits of the 1980s.

It’s a double dose of high-energy entertainment that will transport audiences back to the golden era of 80s music.
