5 Things to Do: Escape Room Adventure, Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser and more in Kendall County

Here are five things to do in Kendall County:

1. Teen Movie Club: From noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, the Teen Movie Club will meet in the Teen Room of the Oswego Public Library, located at 32 W. Jefferson St. Attendees will watch and discuss a movie associated with young adult novels. This session’s movie is “If.” Snacks will be served, so participants should bring closed-lid drinks. 2. Yorkville Sons of The American Legion Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser: From 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, the Yorkville Sons of the American Legion will host a Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser at 9054 E. Veterans Parkway in Yorkville. There will be an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, featuring biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, milk, orange juice, tomato juice and coffee. The price is $12 for ages 18 to 54, $10 for ages 55 and up and $8 for ages 6 to 17. 3. Escape Room Adventure: Through Thursday, Jan. 30, there will be an Escape Room Adventure at Yorkville Public Library, located at 902 Game Farm Road. It is available each month and allows participants to unlock boxes throughout the library in 30-minute time slots. Clues will be provided. 4. “Friends” Trivia at Pinz: At 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, there will be “Friends” trivia at Pinz Entertainment Center, located at 1211 N. Bridge St. in Yorkville. There will be four rounds of questions with four possible winners with an overall winner of the night. There will be plenty of prizes, as well as specialty-themed cocktails and mocktails. 5. Lunch: From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, there will be a lunch at Fox Valley Community Services, located at 1406 Suydam Road in Sandwich.
