Aurora Restaurant Week celebrates local cuisine with exclusive offers

The Italian dining destination Amore Mio and its companion piano bar have opened in downtown Aurora, part of the Altiro restaurant group.

The City of Aurora will host its first-ever Aurora Restaurant Week from Monday, Jan. 21, through Tuesday, Feb. 4, featuring exclusive discounts and fixed-price menus at participating restaurants across the city.

Aurora Restaurant Week offers a chance to explore the city’s diverse dining scene, featuring everything from international flavors to contemporary American cuisine, all while supporting local businesses.

“Aurora’s restaurant scene is truly booming,” said Alex Alexandrou, Aurora’s Chief Management Officer, in a news release from the city. “We have some incredibly talented chefs and diverse culinary offerings throughout Aurora, making this the perfect time for everyone to explore what Aurora has to offer. Aurora Restaurant Week will give residents and visitors alike the chance to escape the cold winter days, enjoy a fantastic meal and experience the extraordinary range of dining options right here in Aurora.”

Restaurants in Aurora are encouraged to participate in Aurora Restaurant Week through submitting their information on the website.

The Destination Aurora app enhances the Aurora Restaurant Week experience by providing a one-stop platform for downtown attractions, events, restaurants and activities.

Available for both iPhone and Android, the app allows users to purchase theater tickets, find parking, view an updated entertainment calendar and discover quality dining options—all in one convenient place.
