5 Things to Do in Will County: Musical Comedy Murders of 1940

1. Musical Comedy Murders of 1940: 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 2 p.m. Feb. 2, Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre, 201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet. The Joliet Drama Guild will present this farcical whodunit that revolves around actors rehearsing for a musical in the 1940s and the murders of three chorus girls. Office satire about three female secretaries who decide to get revenge on their tyrannical, sexist boss by abducting him and running the business themselves. Tickets are $20 each. Proceeds benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Will County. 4. Face 2 Face: A Tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel: 8 p.m. Feb. 7, Rialto Square Theatre, 102 N. Chicago St., Joliet. Formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2010 by frontmen Mike Santoro and Ronnie Smith, this group of musicians bring Elton John and Billy Joel’s music to life. For tickets, visit rialtosquare.com. 5. American Girl Par-Tea: 1-3 p.m., March 2, Lockport Township Park District. Prairie Bluff Golf Club Banquet Room, 19433 Renwick Road, Lockport. An afternoon of tea, treats, and doll-sized fun for young girls and their favorite dolls to dress up, Special glamorous guest will bring the magic of Barbie to life.
