Northern Illinois boasts a diverse pizza scene, with award-winning pies ranging from classic Chicago deep dish to innovative wood-fired creations. To celebrate National Pizza Day, we’ve compiled a list of top-rated pizzerias that will have you craving a slice.

To find out where to get the best slice in Kane, Kendall, McHenry and DeKalb counties, and the Illinois Valley area, we asked our readers to weigh in for the Shaw Media Best of the Fox, Best of the Illinois Valley and DeKalb County’s Finest contests.
