The show may contain adult themes and language. The MAC is on the campus of the College of DuPage at 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. For more MAC entertainment, a free Global Flicks series shows movies at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 12, featuring award-winning international films. Each is followed by COD faculty-led discussion. AtTheMAC.org

5. After Hours Film Society: A “radiant beacon of hope” is at the heart of the movie “Sing Sing,” based on a true story. It will be screened at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in the Tivoli Theatre at 5021 Highland Ave., Downers Grove. Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theater group alongside other incarcerated men, including a wary newcomer (Clarence Maclin), in what’s described as a stirring true story of resilience, humanity and the transformative power of art. The movie stars an ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors. A preshow concert with theater organist David Rhodes begins at 7 p.m. www.afterhoursfilmsociety.com
