In a game against Wheaton North, St. Charles East freshman Brooklyn Schilb put up seven of her game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to help the Saints to a come-from-behind 46-43 victory. Schilb was selected the Kane County Chronicle Athlete of the Week in an online vote.

Geneva senior midfielder Reece Leonard, who commanded the midfield for Geneva and had nine goals and three assists in his senior season, is the 2024 Kane County Chronicle boys soccer Player of the Year.
