OTTAWA — Pamela J. Mitchell, 70, of Springfield, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Heritage Health in Springfield.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Harrison officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. She will be buried in Oakwood Memorial Park.
Pamela was born Nov. 12, 1947, in Ottawa, to Samuel R. and Birdie J. (Beguin) Warrick. She married James A. Mitchell Jr. on May 25, 1971, at the Ottawa courthouse; he passed away on Jan. 26, 1977.
She loved spending time with her family, watching racing, reading, studying the Bible. She belonged to First United Methodist of Springfield.
She is survived by her children, Buddy Clark, Byron (Jamie) Mitchell and Jason Mitchell; her son-in-law, James (Fran) Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Letitia (Steve) Martin; daughter-in-law, Patricia Sue Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Sherry Bentley; grandchildren, Logan Ebblherr, Samantha Mitchell, Jarod Mitchell, Bill Bentley, James Bentley, Tony Bentley, Laurie Thomas, Stephanie Cogdal, Nicole Parker, Christopher Martin and Becca Moon; and siblings, Debra (Mark) Cline and Linda (James) Tri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Don Warrick; and her son-in-law, Mick Bentley.

Pallbearers will be Byron Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Stephen Warrick, Jarod Mitchell, James Tri and Michael Tri.
