OTTAWA — Amber Elaine (Bowker) Moran, homemaker, of Ottawa, died suddenly Friday, May 18, at the age of 34.
Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Patrick Church in Seneca. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Brookfield Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Amber graduated from Seneca High School in 2002 and attended classes at both Illinois Valley Community College and Joliet Junior College.
She was a devoted mother and loved her children deeply. She loved movies, music and playing the guitar. Amber’s beauty inside and out was captivating. Her presence always filled the room and her beautiful smile was infectious.
Amber is survived by her parents, Karl and Gail Bowker; her husband, Leo; her children, Rebecca, Allison, Jakob and Madelyn; her siblings, Melissa (Bruce) Gruben, Timothy (Shannon) Bowker, Jeffrey (Michelle) Bowker, Julie (Andrew) Threadgill, Mario (Shawnee) Bowker; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Amber will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Her youngest daughter is now in need of essentials. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for her needs.
