OTTAWA – Anthony “Shane” Singer, 41, of Ottawa, died on Friday, June 1, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with his dad, Pastor Dave Zehrung, of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Shane was born on Nov. 14, 1976, in Muncie, Ind., to Tony and Judy (Davis) Singer. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School class of 1995. Shane was an avid collector of both music and movies, loved the Chicago Bears, was a fan of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Paula Maier, of Ottawa; his parents, Judy (Dave) Zehrung, of Ottawa, and Tony (Susan Thompson) Singer, of Tipton, Ind.; his sisters, Aimee (Terry) Anderson, Ashley Zehrung, and Kelsey (Jon) Tranchita, all of Ottawa, Acacia Singer and Siarra (Cameron Austin) Singer, of Indiana; his brother Dusty (Crystal) Singer, of Indiana; his maternal grandmother, Wanda Davis, of Muncie; his paternal grandfather, Leon Watters, of Kentucky; a niece, Kyron; a nephew, Abel Shey; step-nephews, Zach and Dominic; and step-nieces, Skyla and Becca.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clifford Davis, and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Watters.
