Judith ‘Judy’ K. Marsinko-Henson

1959-2018

STREATOR — Judith “Judy” K. Marsinko-Henson, 59, of Streator, passed away at 9:11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Hagi & Baker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jeffrey Small will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.

She was born Sept. 5, 1959, in Streator, to Edward and Barbara (Kauth) Marsinko. She married David D. Henson on Dec. 28, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He preceded her in death March 11, 2017.

She is survived by a daughter, Jamie (Brian) Lurz, of Streator; stepchildren, Dana (John) Nighswonger, Jeff (Hollie) Henson, Patrick Henson, all of Streator, and Scott (Alleigh) Henson, of Normal; 14 grandchildren, Jenna, Derek, Haley, Andrea, Aaron, Payton, Addison and Austen Henson, Savannah, Noah, Jersey and Harlie Lurz and Brodrick and Layla Henson; siblings, Susan (Daniel) Henson, of Streator, James (Tammy) Hall Sr., of Streator, Randy (Colleen) Marsinko, of Benton, and Brian (Ashley) Marsinko, of Streator; her father-in-law, Bobby Henson, of Manville; and an aunt, Marge Kauth, of Dwight.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; mother-in-law, Doris Henson; and a cousin, Ronald Kauth.

She attended Woodland High School and had worked at Casey’s South, B & R Grocery, Road Ranger and St. Mary’s Hospital.

She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed scary movies, playing cards and was on the CB radio all the time.
