OTTAWA — David "Chris" Krueger, 57, of Ottawa, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Aperion Care in Marseilles.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside rites will be held. Celebration of his life will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in Memory Lane Lounge at Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle located at the corner of Ninth and Bucklin streets. Burgess Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
He was born July 7, 1961, in Bavaria, Germany, to Paul and Kathleen (Gasser) Krueger. He married Jody Bailey on May 29, 1995, in Michigan.
He was employed by S&S Tool and Die of Peru as an engineer for over 20 years.
He enjoyed being with family and friends, especially the “Bloody Mary” Group.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Devin, of Wenona, Darian, of Ottawa, and Tara, of Texas; one son, Brandon (Drea); five grandchildren, Kayden, Brynlee, Lana, Ethan and Makayah; one brother, John, of North Carolina; and three sisters, Barb Colson, of Indiana, Allison Krueger, of Minnesota, and Valerie Gustin, of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.
