Rodney W. Miller

NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Rodney Wayne Miller, 59, of North Vernon, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 29, at his home.

He was born Aug. 9, 1959, in Greensburg, Ind., to Callie and Zelma Wayman Miller.

Rodney was of the Catholic Faith.

He retired after 30 years at U.S. Silica in Ottawa.

He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by sons, Ryan (Heidi) Miller, of Utica, and Blake (fiancee Melissa Parks) Miller, of Ottawa; brother, Ray (Judy) Miller, of North Vernon, Ind.; sister, Janie Pittman, of North Vernon; half-brother, Steven (Doris) Feese, Columbus, Ind.; and half-sister, Linda (Steve) Henderson, of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Norman Miller.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street, with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to time of services. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Hathaway-Myers Chapel, 1022 Pearl St., in Columbus, Ind., is assisting the family.
