Carole J. Leslie, 79, of Wedron, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3rd at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in DeBoldt Cemetery in Wedron.

Carole was born on May 29, 1939 in Mankato, MN to Oliver and Eleanor (Huntley) Brooks. On January 25, 1956, she married Donald Leslie in Wedron, who preceded her in death in 2008.

She was employed by the St. Joseph's Health Resort in Wedron and then CTS Knights in Sandwich until her retirement. She enjoyed baking and was very talented at crafting and sewing.

Carole is survived by her children, Burl (Cheri) Leslie of Ottawa, Ticia (Burney) Reed of Ottawa, Karla (David) Head of Appleton, WI, and Jason (Jill) Leslie of Yorkville; eleven grandchildren, Jamie (Ryan) Cosmutto, Jon (Laurie) Leslie, Justin (Kate) Reed, Hannah Reed, David (Rachel) Head, Zaccri (Amy) Recker, Bret Head, Haley Head (who was very special to her and who took great care of her for the last two years), and Faith, Hope, and Grace Leslie; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Kay Malik of Wedron; one brother, Don (Connie) Brooks of LaSalle; and her sister-in-law, Janet Robinson of Marseilles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Dennis, Richard, and Harry Brooks; one sister, JoAnn Brooks; and a special grandson, Joshua Reed.

Memorials may be directed to the Serena Fire Department. Her grandchildren will be pallbearers.
