Shawna Doran, 46, of Princeton, formerly of Ottawa, died Friday, March 8, 2019, surrounded by family at Richard Owen Hospice Home in Peoria following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born November 12, 1972, to Terry and Nancy (Riebe) Henderson in Streator, IL.

Surviving are her parents, Terry Henderson of Streator and Nancy Ugland of Ottawa; her husband, Leighton “Bryn” Doran of Princeton; six children, Keagan Mattes of Elburn, Jared Henderson of Streator, Brendon (Jayce) Henderson of San Diego, CA, Kcaleb Henderson of Ottawa, Jaydon Henderson of LaSalle, and Sianna Doran of Princeton; one grandchild, Bella Rose Mattes of Elburn; a brother, Teague Ugland of Ottawa; four sisters, Kerry Henderson of Streator, Genetta (Andrew) Hintz of Peru, Rusina (Tyler) Modglin of Rantoul and Ericka “Kezlie” Ugland of Rapid City, SD; niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Kurt Ugland of Ottawa; two brothers, Cory Henderson of San Diego, CA, Erik Ugland of Ottawa; and her grandparents.

Shawna loved taking pictures and compiling photo albums. She loved to write and draw. She could have an engaging conversation with anyone. Shawna's indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles.

Visitation will be at 2:00 on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Crossbridge Community Church in Ottawa with the service at 3:00. A meal will follow.
