Barbara Carol Godwin

Barbara Carol (Kammerer) Godwin, 80, of Marseilles died Thursday, March 21, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25 in the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Services will be private.

Barbara was born on March 6, 1939 in Ottawa to Frank and Edna Kammerer. She was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. She married William Godwin on Sept. 25, 1957 in Ottawa. He passed away May 7, 2003.

She is survived by 6 children, Sherri (Jay) Inskeep of Marseilles, Jeff (Cheryl) Godwin of Marseilles, Keith Godwin of Marseilles, Rene Marquez, of Ottawa and Matthew (Katrina) Godwin of Marseilles, and Brandy Vize, of Melvin, IL; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a brother Gary (Patty) Kammerer of Naplate and a sister Sheila Wells of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William, a son, Brett, a daughter, Tamara.
