No one was injured during a Sunday afternoon fire in Ottawa.
Ottawa and Wallace firefighers responded some time after 4 p.m. to 2106 Champlain St. for a well-involved fire. The fire caused significant damage to the garge and front of the home.
Nobody was home at the time, according to Ottawa Deputy Fire Chief Brian Bressner. He said more information on the fire may be released later Sunday. The Times will update the story with more information once it's available.
Champlain Street was closed by Ottawa police at North 2959th Road just before the railroad tracks to through traffic. Naplate firefighters assisted by covering the fire station.
