Joy Anne Landers, 88, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Pleasant View Luther Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 10 at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am, prior to services, Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at St. Columba Cemetery. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Joy was born February 2, 1931 in Peoria to Granville and Cecilia (Comincioli) Hall. She married Thomas J. Landers on April 28, 1956 in Ottawa; he passed away May 31, 2017. Joy worked as a nurse at Ryburn Hospital before working as Dr. Morhead's nurse at the Ottawa Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Mary Beth Iverson, Jean Landers, and Michael (Mona) Landers; three grandchildren, Paige Iverson, Max Landers, and Lida Landers; one brother, George W. (Mary) Hall of FL; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Michael Hall; and her sister, Barbara Flahaut.
Pallbearers will be Ken Hall, Michael Hall, Bill Donahue, Bill Landers, Hank Zolper, and Gary Kettleboro.
