Virginia M. (Warner) Woltering, 94, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday afternoon, November 15, 2019 at Pleasant View.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Cherie Stewart, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will be at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery on a later date.
Virginia was born on April 8, 1925 in New Canton, Illinois to Walter and Thelma (Armour) Warner. She was a graduate of New Canton High School, class of 1943. Virginia married Fred Woltering on June 28, 1958 in Quincy, IL. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. Virginia loved gardening, inside and outdoors, sewing, designing clothes, and crafting.
She is survived by her husband, Fred, 2 sons, Dana (Sharon) Allensworth of Arab, AL and Gerry (Lynn) Woltering, of Ottawa, 3 grandchildren, Troy (Barb) Allensworth, of Alabama, Derrick (Amy) Allensworth, of Alabama, and Coree (Tom) Aussem-Woltering, and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
