Thomas Schramm, 42, of rural Ottawa died Monday morning, Dec. 9, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 13, at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. David Kipfer, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Mueller Funeral Home.

Tom was born on March 14, 1977 in Freeport to Robert and Joan (Smith) Schramm. He was a 1995 graduate of Marquette Academy, and worked as a painter. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. He was an avid Cubs fan and also enjoyed Bears football, fishing, and softball. He loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his fiancée, Khristina McCaslin, his parents of Ottawa, and his children, Gage Arntzen, Hailee Arntzen, Lexi Schramm, and Maddie Schramm, 6 brothers and sisters, Rob (Jorgeanne) Schramm, of Bureau, Joseph Schramm, of Normal, Mary (Robert) Camerier, of Oswego, Julie (Dan) Shreve, of Ottawa, Jon (Michelle) Schramm, of LaSalle, and Mike (Erica) Schramm, of Minooka, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of Mass Cards.

Pallbearers will be Mike, Jon, Joe, and Rob Schramm, Dan Shreve, and Marc Cummins.
