Charles Arthur Combs, 82, of Marseilles, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at Aperion Care Center in Marseilles.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Thursday, December 19 at the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Bill Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday at the church, prior to funeral services. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is handling the arrangements.

Charlie was born January 5, 1937, in Mannsville KY, to Arthur O. and Cora (Bland) Combs. In 1960, he married Janet Youngling of Marseilles, who survives.

He attended the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene. He served in the Army. He was employed by LOF until his retirement and then worked at Terry Bentz Buick in Marseilles. He was a huge University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Janet; three sons, Charles Mark of California, Kevin (Holli) of Marseilles, and Grant (Melinda) Combs of Morton; four grandchildren; Ciera (Zack) Stevens, and Caleb, Carson and Ethan Combs, and one sister; Janene (John) Tuttle of Sandwich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister; Margaret Hogan.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Pallbearers will be family.
