Samantha Jo Bruce, 50, of Panama City Beach, Fla., formerly of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her home in Panama City Beach.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Lynn Bruce officiating.

Samantha was born April 2, 1969 in Silverton, OR to Gary and Pamela (Brown) Wagenknecht. In 1985, she married Leonard Bruce of Seneca, who survives.

She served on the Seneca Summerfest Committee for many years and cared for her friends' children in her home. She lived her dream when she retired to Panama City Beach. Family was her life.

Sam is survived by her husband, Leonard; a daughter, Jennifer (Stetson Shirky) Bruce of Clinton, MO; a son, Jacob (Michaela Coughlin) Bruce of Mazon; a sister, Aaronette (John) Mitchell of Sandwich; and a brother, Erich (Billie) Wagenknecht of DeKalb.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to a fund for her children's continued education.
