La Salle Public Library to host historian John Lynn

The La Salle Public Library is hosting Illinois Historian and World Traveler John Lynn at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when he virtually presents "Life on the Missouri River."

The Missouri river is a 2,321 mile long river that starts in Three Forks, Montana, and ends at the Mississippi rRver, notable for its importance to pioneers and natives.

John Lynn, of Peoria, has photographed all 2,400 Illinois cities, villages and towns, and he has hiked, biked and canoed enough historic and scene trails, roads and rivers in North America and Britain to circle the globe.

The program is free and open to the public. It will go live on Zoom using the link https://bit.ly/2YGHbHo .
