The city of Ottawa removed some dying trees recently from the Jordan block and relandscaped the area.

Commissioner Marla Rodriguez said Tuesday that Stephanie Stacy from Garden’s Gate donated trees and offered a plan to change the landscaping.

“I think it looks a lot better now that it is redone,” Rodriguez said. “It’s a long step towards beautifying the block.”
