Full rainbow appears south of Ottawa

Sunshine, rain showers combine to create scene before sunset

Just before sunset Monday, the sunshine and a rain shower combined to make a full rainbow between Ottawa and Streator, along Route 23. The rainbow arched over the oranges and ambers of the fields during harvest time to create a colorful scene.
