Street to be closed between 4th and 5th streets for street light installation

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that lanes that have been closed for construction will reopen, where possible, but other closures will remain over the holiday weekend. — Peoria Street between Fourth and Fifth streets in Peru will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, because the street lights will be replaced.
