Logan girls land first, second at SRC tournament

Seventh-grade Lions rally to win first place; eighth-grade takes second

The Princeton Logan seventh-grade girls captured the SRC championship, defeating Spring Valley JFK 40-35 Thursday at Ottawa. Team members are Kalli Gasperecz, Breanna Fetzer, Kendall Keutzer, Adeleigh Seitz, Harper Sayler, Sadie Ori, Sadie Rutledge, Lydia Kyle, Sophie Harp, Layla Monier, Rockie Vires and Emma Hensley, coaches Charlie Yelm, Stephanie Monier and Katie Sayler and managers Emily Jaeger and Ellie Matlick.

Princeton Logan Junior High girls basketball not only landed one trophy from the SRC Tournament in Ottawa, but they brought home two.

The seventh-grade Lions rallied from a 19-11 halftime deficit to defeat Spring Valley JFK 40-35 for the championship.

The eighth-grade Lions lost to host Ottawa Shepherd 24-19 in the finals, taking second.
