St. Bede bowlers sweep Hall: BCR Roundup, Wednesday, Dec. 11

Boys bowling

At Ladd: Devin Steil rolled the top game (231) and series (590) to lead St. Bede (2,835) to a win over Hall (2,277) at Ladd Lanes.

Dawson Hoffman did the same for the host Red Devils with a 173 game and 509 series.

Girls bowling

At Ladd: Maddy Fabish rolled the high game of 203 and a series of 563 to lead St. Bede (2,211) to a win over Hall (2,143) at Ladd Lanes.

Payton Miller led the Red Devils with a game best of 174 and a series high of 481.

Boys basketball

Henry-Senachwine 52, LaMoille 37: Brayden Klein had 16 points and six rebounds for the Lions in defeat in nonconference play at Dean Madsen Gymnasium. Connor Deering added nine points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Billhorn grabbed 15 rebounds with six points.

Annawan 70, Earlville 36: The Braves scored a nonconference win at earlville behind Maddux Heitzler (20 points), Dillon Ketelsen-Anton (11) and Cole Goodley (10).

Adam Waite led the Red Raiders with 20 points.

Girls basketball

Abingdon-Avon 59, Bureau Valley 31: The Storm fell to the unbeaten Tornadoes in a Lincoln Trail Conference contest at Abingdon. Libby Endress led BV (5-4, 1-2) with 11 points.

The Storm JV won 34-26, led by Maggie Besler (11 points) and Sierrah Taylor (10).
