Ottawa Sunrise Rotary honors December 2024 students of the month

The Rotary Club of Ottawa Sunrise recognized two seniors for December 2024.

Avery Durdan from Marquette Academy has been active in many clubs and sports. Durdan’s plans are to attend Iowa University and pursue a career in biomedical engineering. Ottawa High School senior Kyler Araujo is co-captain of the basketball team and on the baseball team. He mentors freshman students and actively supports all athletics by working at the games and being a superfan. The future for Araujo will center on a university degree in sports management.
