Utica Fire Department to host Santa parade

Santa also will take visitors at community hall

Santa took time out of his busy schedule to parade through most of the the Village of Utica bringing cheer to children of all ages. The Utica Fire Protection District has been hosting Santa since December 1941 and is one of the oldest Santa parades in the Illinois Valley. Each December, the Utica Fire Department escorts Santa throughout subdivisions and parades throughout the village. — The Utica Fire Department will host its annual Santa Claus parade beginning at 6 p.m. in the Burgess subdivision. The Utica Fire Department will host its annual Santa Claus parade beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Burgess subdivision.

Santa will ride on a fire truck throughout the village.

Santa also will be available to visit at 7 p.m. at Utica Community Hall.
