Utica honors retiring police officer Mark Credi

Credi served 8 years in Utica, 26 in Peru

The Utica Village Board congratulated retiring officer Mark Credi, who spent 26 years with the Peru Police Department and nearly eight as a part-time officer in Utica.

Mayor David Stewart cited Credi’s quick thinking during the Grand Bear fire as a standout moment in Credi’s long and distinguished career.

“I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done,” Stewart said.
