Bureau County 4-H welcomes new and returning families to enroll for the 2024-25 4-H year.
Illinois 4-H is the flagship youth program for the University of Illinois Extension and the largest out-of-school youth organization in Illinois. 4-H youth development programs are available in every Illinois county. The program challenges youth to learn by doing with fun, hands-on experiences that help youth thrive. Youth can learn, practice and demonstrate new skills while exploring the interests that are important to them.
“There is a place for everyone in 4-H,” said Sarah Poignant, Bureau County 4-H and youth development program coordinator.
Through after-school programs, clubs, camps and special interest clubs, 4-H serves youth.
Illinois 4-H members range in age from 8 to 18, where they can learn how to run meetings and gain skills. Youth ages 5 to 7 may join as 4-H Cloverbud members. New Bureau County 4-H families must register in Zsuite at 4h.zsuite.org by May 1.
Returning Bureau County 4-H families must register in Zsuite by March 1.
