Winners announced for 2024 Streator Holiday Lighting and Decorating Contest

Grand prize donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

The winners of the 2024 Holiday Lighting and Decorating Contest in Streator were announced, as the Streator Chamber of Commerce recognized a handful of local residents and businesses.

  • Most Creative: Daniel Danko, 207 Ninth St.
  • Most Religious: Dustin Schaibley, 1507 Road
  • Most Animated: Josh Thorp, 1799 E. 14th Road
  • Best Storefront: The Salvation Army Streator 360 Life Center, 126 S. Bloomington St.
  • Best Overall: Justin Proud, 914 E. 12th St.

The Proud family donated its $100 prize and a matching $100 donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
