Ayla Dorsey, Ottawa, MH/OH, sr.
A dominant force in the middle for the Pirates, Dorsey earned a spot on the Interstate 8 All-Conference team with her 225 kills, .240 hitting percentage, 62 serving aces and whopping 52 stuff blocks. This is Dorsey’s first appearance on the Times All-Area Team.
Skylar Dorsey, Ottawa, S, sr.
The 2024 Times Girls Volleyball Player of the Year, Dorsey’s play helped led the Pirates to 24 wins and earned her Interstate 8 All-Conference honors after tallying 626 assists, 82 kills, 30 blocks, 175 digs and 43 aces. Dorsey — who finished with 1,201 career assists — was a Times All-Area Team honorable mention member as a junior.
Avery Durdan, Marquette, MB/OH, sr.
A first-team Tri-County All-Conference and TCC All-Tournament choice, Durdan helped lead the Crusaders to 24 wins and a Class 1A regional title with a 210-kill, 36-block, 20-ace prep curtain call. This is Durdan’s first appearance on the Times All-Area Team.
Aubrey Jacobs, Streator, S/OH, jr.
An Illinois Central Eight All-Conference and IVCA All-State second team selection, Jacobs had a fantastic all-around season recording 248 assists, 238 kills, 196 digs and 40 blocks for the Bulldogs. This is Jacob’s first appearance on the Times All-Area Team.
Adrianna Larsen, Newark, OH, sr.
Larsen helped the Norsemen capture 25 wins, Little Ten Conference regular-season and tournament titles, as well as a Class 1A regional championship. The unanimous All-LTC selection posted 279 kills, 239 digs, 35 aces and 21 blocks. This is Larsen’s first appearance on the Times All-Area Team.
Lainie Olson, Seneca, S, sr.
Olson helped lead the Fighting Irish to a school-record 32 wins, the Tri-County Conference regular-season title and a Class 2A regional championship. She recorded 704 assists, 230 digs, 105 kills and 42 aces. Olson was a Times All-Area Team honorable mention member as a junior.
Malayna Pitte, Woodland, MH, sr.
A two-time Tri-County All-Conference first team and three-time TCC All-Tournament honoree, Pitte helped lead the Warriors to 19 wins, registering 232 kills, 47 blocks and 17 aces. Pitte — who finished with 567 career kills — was a Times All-Area Team second team selection as a junior.
