Princeton’s Grady Thompson is off to a fast start in his sophomore basketball season for Dubuque University.
Hampered by an ankle sprain to open the season, Thompson has come on like gang-busters, averaging 18.4 points in the last seven games for the Spartans (7-3). He had a season-high 23 points in an 81-67 win on Dec. 7 at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
Thompson was a First Team All-Stater for Princeton’s Sweet 16 team in 2022-23 and the BCR Player of the Year.
McKenna Christiansen, a 2024 Hall grad and all-BCR First Teamer, is playing for Illinois College in Jacksonville. She has played in all 10 games for the Blues (2-8), scoring 15 points with 10 rebounds.
