Henry church to host screening of ‘The Bishop’s Wife'

Chili, taco soup, cookies will be available

The Henry United Presbyterian Church is launching a new ministry called GriefShare. It is a 13 week session guided to help those who are suffering from the loss of a loved one.

The Henry Presbyterian Church will be showing “The Bishop’s Wife,” starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young, David Niven and Elsa Lancaster, at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5.

An angel in human form comes down and enters the life of the bishop in order to help him build a new cathedral and repair his fractured marriage. It is described as joyous, delightful and festive.

Chili, taco soup, crackers, cookies and drinks will be available. The church, 511 Wirt St., is handicapped accessible. Call 309-364-3083 for more information.
