The following students were selected by the Seneca High School teachers and staff as the August 2024 Students of the Month.

Student of the Month
Payton McDonald is the son of Carrie and Mark McDonald, residents of Seneca. He intends to enroll at the University of Illinois, where he will pursue a degree in either electrical engineering or computer science. McDonald plans to work in software development or as an electrical engineer upon completing his studies. McDonald is involved in various activities, including Scholastic Bowl, TSA, Robotics Team, Math Team, Senior Class President, Student Council, TRUST, Spanish Club, ACES, NHS, Drama Club, CIA and Student Ambassadors.
Role Model of the Month
Kevin Einhaus is the son of Jerry and Kristine Einhaus from Seneca. He has his sights set on Eastern Illinois University. Beyond his academic pursuits, Einhaus is involved in extracurricular activities, including football, track and field, FFA and NHS.
Irish Pride of the Month
Tessa Krull is the daughter of Matt and Caley Krull, who reside in Mazon. Her aspiration is to obtain a softball scholarship and play at a 4-year university. Krull participates in a variety of activities, including volleyball, basketball, softball, HOSA, FCCLA and Young Philanthropy.
Rookie of the Month
Brynlee Hunt is the daughter of Scott and Hannah Hunt, residents of Mazon. She plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field. Hunt participates in volleyball, basketball, softball, HOSA, serving as class president, FFA and serving as a Student Ambassador. Hunt is looking forward to the next four years and the opportunities they will bring.
