Helmar Lutheran to host kumla dinner to benefit pantry

Helmar Lutheran Church will host a kumla fundraiser dinner 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18.

All proceeds go to the church’s food pantry

Dinner is buffet style and includes ham, kumla (baked potato if preferred), applesauce, dessert and beverage.

Carryouts are available at 11935 Lisbon Road, rural Newark. A free will offering will be accepted. Call 815-201-3789 for more information.
