Princeton Public Library to host non-event fundraiser

No fancy party, check out library’s Facebook

Princeton Public Library

Princeton Public Library is hosting its quadrennial non-event.

The library conducted it in 2016, 2020 and will do so in 2024. The library is not having a fancy party for New Year’s Eve, so patrons won’t be able to ring in the New Year in person on Dec. 31. There will be some action, however, in the library.

A few popular literary personalities are planning a get together and strategically placed cameras will allow the library to capture and share their NYE shenanigans. The public can check out the library’s Facebook page via its website (www.princetonpl.org) throughout the night for updates on the party that is happening. This way, patrons can end the year of 2024 on a high note, comfy at home with a good book or DVD from the library. The library will provide the entertainment.

Patrons can donate in person at the library or mail to Princeton Public Library, 698 E. Peru St. Princeton, IL 61357 or go online at https://princetonpl.org/contributions/how-can-i-contribute/
