Holiday pop-up shop to remain open in Ottawa

601 Mercantile & Gifts was set to close at the end of December, but is staying in downtown Ottawa.

The shop, 601 La Salle St., that features local artists and brands opened on Black Friday with the intention of being open for holiday shopping. Hours will vary by month.

In January, the shop will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

“We are thrilled to join downtown Ottawa this upcoming year. We have lots of plans in store and will be adding new things to the shop constantly,” read a social media post.
