Peru library to host mayoral candidates forum Feb. 23

Space will be limited for attendees

The April election is already in full swing as the Peru Public Library announced it will be hosting a mayoral forum, featuring candidates Ken Kolowski and Doug Bernabei, on Sunday, Feb. 23.

The April election is around the corner, as the Peru Public Library announced it will be hosting a mayoral forum Sunday, Feb. 23, featuring candidates Ken Kolowski and Doug Bernabei.

The forum will begin at 1 p.m. with the doors opening at 12:30 p.m. and space is limited.

“This forum offers voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and discover their views and ideas regarding the future of Peru,” program librarian Marti Pack said in a news release.

Questions for the candidates should be submitted prior to the event by emailing mpack@perulibrary.org or in writing at the library.

The event will be live-streamed by the Starved Rock Media YouTube Channel.
