Coffee trailer opens this week in downtown Peru

Babs Brew opens Thursday at 2130 Fourth St. in downtown Peru.

The immobile coffee trailer will sell specialty coffee drinks.

In August, the Peru City Council approved a one-year lease agreement and the business will have the option to renew for another year. The agreement said the shop will make improvements to the former gas station property including signage, outdoor seating, tables, chairs, landscaping, artificial grass, wooden posts, concrete, four large pots, plants and lights.
