Program set Jan. 26 about one-time La Salle County Fairgrounds, Driving Park site in Ottawa

The Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum would like more room for displays.

The first history lecture of 2025 will be 2 p.m. Sunday Jan. 26, at the Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum, 1100 Canal St.

The presenter is Mollie Perrot, and she will give a program on the La Salle County Fairgrounds and the Driving Park that were situated where Ottawa’s Riordan Pool is now.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. The public is welcome to attend. Seating may be limited. Light snacks will be served.
