“In La Salle County, the need for CASA volunteers and resources is greater than ever. I’m honored to take on this role and to work with our incredible advocates, volunteers and supporters to ensure every child has a voice in court and a chance at a brighter future,” Nelson said.

Under Nelson’s guidance, La Salle County CASA will continue to grow its capacity to serve the increasing number of children in need of advocacy, the agency said in a news release.
