Energy and Public Utilities among her assignments

State Sen. Sue Rezin, R-Morris, announced her committee assignments and her continued role as Deputy Minority Leader for the Illinois Senate Republican Caucus.

“It is a privilege to continue serving as Deputy Minority Leader under Minority Leader John Curran,” Rezin said in a news release. “I remain committed to working with Leader Curran and my colleagues to advance policies that strengthen our communities, create economic opportunities, and promote a more responsible and effective government.”

Additionally, Rezin will serve on key Senate committees for the 104th General Assembly, including Energy and Public Utilities, Executive and Human Rights (Minority Spokesperson).

“These committees will allow me to focus on crucial areas directly impacting families and businesses across Illinois,” Rezin said. “From ensuring a reliable energy future to advocating for strong consumer protections, I look forward to continuing to serve as a voice for my constituents and the people of our state.”

Rezin has served in the Illinois Senate since December 2010 and continues to represent the 38th Senate District, which includes parts of Bureau, DeKalb, Grundy, La Salle, Kendall and Will counties.
