Free barbecue lunch set Feb. 8 at Park Place

A free lunch is scheduled 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Park Place, 406 E. Hickory St., Streator.

The meal will be hosted by St. Michael Church and volunteers will serve barbecue, potato salad, baked beans, dessert and a beverage.

The Free Lunch Program is sponsored by Deacons and Hardscrabble Lions and it is held the second Saturday of each month.

The public is invited to attend. The meal will have dine-in or carryout options.
