La Salle County Retired Teachers to meet Feb. 24

The La Salle County Retired Teachers Association will host its general meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at the Ottawa Historical & Scouting Heritage Museum, 1100 Canal St., Ottawa.

Illinois Retired Teachers Association Vice President John Flaherty and museum staff will be the guest speakers.

The meeting will begin with refreshments and registration at 9 a.m., followed by the business meeting at 9:30 a.m..

Flaherty will address attendees at 10 a.m. followed by a 10:45 a.m. break, with a museum tour and speakers at 11 a.m.
