At Granville: Mendota split a pair of duals Wednesday at Putnam County.
The Trojans defeated Putnam County-Hall 54-18 and lost to Orion 48-27.
Corbin Furar recorded two pins for the Trojans at 175 pounds, while Komen Denault (138), Oliver Turner (215) and Angil Serrano (285) also won by pin against PC-Hall. Trayvon Rucker (138) won by fall against Orion, while Gavin Stevenson (120) won by decision.
PC-Hall’s Alex Tucker won by fall at 190 against Mendota.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Sycamore 64, Mendota 45: The Trojans lost a nonconference game in Mendota.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Rock Falls 42, Earlville 35: Natalie Hall scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds as the Red Raiders lost in the Polo tournament.
Audrey Scherer added six points and five rebounds for Earlville.
