BOYS BOWLING

La Salle-Peru 3,348, St. Bede 2,946: Zach Quick rolled a 648 series with a 244 high game Thursday to lead the Cavaliers to a victory at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl in Peru.

Aiden McCray bowled a 638 series, including a 258 high game, for L-P, while Andrew Olivero added a 609 series.

Haiden Ator led the Bruins with a 616 series, while Devin Steil added a 565 series.

WRESTLING

At Mendota: Mendota split a pair of nonconference duals, beating Streator 44-18 and losing to Ottawa 54-30.

Angil Serrano (285 pounds) won by pin in 1:09 against Streator and recorded a fall in 3:12 against Ottawa, while Gavin Stevenson (120) won by pin in 2:51 against Streator and in 1:40 against Ottawa and Komen Denault (132) won by major decision against Streator and recorded a fall in 59 seconds against Ottawa.

Gavin Evans (157) won by technical fall against Streator, while Corbin Furar (175) won by pin in 2:38 against Ottawa.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Princeton 54, Streator 22: Camryn Driscoll had 18 points, three steals and two assists as the Tigresses won their first pool play game at the Ottawa Holiday Tournament in Ottawa.

Keighley Davis had 14 points and three assists for Princeton, while Avaya Koning added eight points.

Princeville 50, Henry-Senachwine 48: Kaitlyn Anderson had 22 points, 18 rebounds, three steals and a block as the Mallards came up short in a nonconference game in Princeville.

Lauren Harbison added 10 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals for Henry.
