At LaMoille: The host Lions won 55-49 over Calvary Christian on the first day of the LaMoille Holiday Classic on Thursday.

LaMoille will face Lowpoint-Washburn in Friday’s semifinals.

Also Thursday, DePue lost to Galva 69-36.

St. Bede 60, Elmwood 44: Mason Ross scored 16 points as the No. 5-seeded Bruins beat the No. 4 Trojans in the first round of the Princeville Holiday Tournament in Princeville.

Carson Riva added 12 points for St. Bede, which plays No. 1 Brimfield in Friday’s semifinals.

East Dubuque 70, Princeton 48: The Tigers lost in the Hutchins Holiday Classic in Sherrard.
